Accelerating Research Translation at UMass will fund up to three Seed Translational Research Projects (STRP) annually through the Translational Seed Awards program. While the funding is non-dilutive the focus is on building upon an analytical and/or experimental proof of concept with the aim of achieving a prototype within two years within an environment relevant to the intended use of the innovation. This funding adds to the availability of funding through the Manning Innovation Program.
