Merit Awards

With the newly approved MSP successor bargaining agreement, the merit award process will once again be implemented on-campus.

There are two merit pools that will be distributed:

  • The 2023-2024 activity period will inform the January 2026 merit award pool (2.25%).
  • The 2024-2025 activity period will inform the January 2027 merit award pool (1.75%).

More details about the dates and deadlines for submitting and reviewing AFRs can be found in our 2025 AFR Announcement and here on our Due Dates page.

Effective with the 2024-2025 activity period, faculty will use the Faculty Success Platform to develop their AFR. Resources and supports available to faculty for the Faculty Success Platform are accessible here.
