“Mass Impact” is a day where UMass students, faculty, staff, and alumni come together to serve the local community through volunteering at various project sites. Community needs are identified in advance and projects are established to address these needs. Projects can range from planting trees and gardening, to painting an elementary school, to singing to the elderly. There are many different projects that will appeal to many different interests.
UMass will have a “Mass Impact” on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Check-in begins at 9am on the Haigis Mall in front of the Fine Arts Center.
