The Department of Chemistry and the Lillya family invites the UMass Amherst community to celebrate the life of Emeritus Professor C. Peter Lillya from 2-5 p.m. in LSL S330.

Espinal, research services librarian at the W. E. B. Du Bois Library, presented “Digital and Physical Safety and Knowledge Work Bravery – Lessons from 33 Years in the Library DEI Space,” at the 10th anniversary of the symposium, held at the University of San Diego April 29 and 30.

Honorees include entrepreneur Paul Manning, philanthropist Earl Stafford, community leader Denise Hurst, author Colson Whitehead, media executive Michelle Cardinal and conductor Jason Fettig.
