CC and DJ Word CountsThis character count of the CC and DJ texts was carried out by Eric Henry, on an E-text supplied by Jens Østergård Petersen. Further computations are by the Project, which accepts responsibility for all errors in the resulting list.
In order from the left, columns represent (1) the Lu reign and (2) its length in years (note that Ai-gung's reign is reported in two sections, with the division point coming partway through 0481, and that only one year of the reign of Dau-gung is included); (3) the CC reign total wordcount, with (4) per year average and (5) cumulative reign totals; (6-8) the corresponding figures for the DJ; and finally (9) the ratio between the DJ and CC reign total counts. This last figure may suggest the distinctive foci of interest for the DJ writers.
