Ywe is partnered with Wu in the minds of many, yet it figures quite differently in the standard histories. Legge (Chinese Classics v4) gives lists of rulers for every Spring and Autumn state of note, but not for Ywe. The sources for Ywe history were taken up at AAS/Boston (2007), and additional information, including a list of Ywe rulers from such sources as are available, is given in this section.
