Warring States Results
DatesBefore we take up the task of determining a reality-based periodization in the pre-Imperial centuries, which is a matter of large historical movements, we must first consider the prior problem of fixing the dates of specific events. We give here a general methodological prolegomena, followed by brief arguments for some dates that seem to us to rest on relatively solid evidence, without too much reliance on other conclusions or on dubious traditions. A separate list of dates for text-bearing tombs is given at the end.
