Chinese Romanization TablesThese tables permit easy conversion between the Common Alphabetic, Wade-Giles, and Pinyin systems for romanizing Chinese words. Each table lists all the syllables of Peking Mandarin, in alphabetical order according to one system, and gives equivalents in the other two systems. To avoid long pages, each table is divided into four segments. An arrow at the bottom of each segment leads to the next. A separate link at the bottom of each segment will return you to this overview page.
Common Alphabetic (CA)
1. A-Dzwo
2. Fa-Lywe
3. Ma-Sz
4. Ta-Ywn
A version of one of these tables appeared in The Original Analects (1998) at page 325f; the others are published here for the first time.
