Warring States Papers
Information for Patrons

The journal hopes in time to become largely self-supporting, but like most such enterprises it will partly rely on assistance from supporters at the outset. There are two forms in which that assistance can be rendered.

Issue Patron

A contribution of $2,000 or more will entitle an individual or organization to be listed, in the issue Preface and on the TP verso, as the patron for that issue. Those interested should confer in advance with the Editorial Staff to see what possibilities are open.

Founders Circle

A one-time contribution of $500 or more will admit the donor to the Founders Circle. Founders are listed on the TP verso of each issue, and receive a lifetime subscription to the journal.

Calligraphic Spacer

As a part of the University of Massachusetts, the Project is a tax-exempt nonprofit entity, and contributions to it are deductible under applicable US state and Federal tax laws. Receipts in form acceptable to the IRS are provided for all contributions.

Checks, in US funds and drawn on a US bank, should be made out to the Warring States Project, and should be mailed to

A cover note should identify the contribution as specifically intended for the journal. Those interested in supporting the Project as a whole may consult the separate Project Gifts page.
