UMass Extension Plant Diagnostic Laboratory

The UMass Extension Plant Diagnostic Lab provides diagnosis of plant problems for farmers, horticulturists, landscape contractors, turf managers, arborists, nurseries, and others. The Lab is a member of the Northeast Plant Diagnostics Network, which enhances agricultural security through protecting health and productivity of plants in agricultural and natural ecosystems. It provides a cohesive, distributed system to quickly detect and identify pests and pathogens of concern. The Lab is a program of UMass Extension and the Center for Agriculture, Food and the Environment.
