Launching into adulthood can be difficult for any youth but for those who are adopted, it can be an extra challenging time. The Rudd Adoption Research Program is hosting its 7th annual conference: "New Worlds of Adoption: Launching into Adulthood. Dr. Ann Masten from the University of Minnesota will speak on research she has done on resilience in development with a focus on transitions to adulthood. Dr. Masten will be joined by three adult adoptees who are now in significant professional positions serving the adoption community. In addition, the conference will include panel discussions, topical concurrent sessions and posters displaying research and programs. Registration opens the end of November.
