Multicultural Engineering Program

The Multicultural Engineering Program (MEP) aims to encourage students of African-American, Native-American, Hispanic, and Cape Verdean descent in the engineering field. The program provides support services to assist students in a successful college experience, increase the enrollment, retention, graduation and to attain a professional career in engineering. MEP offers professional development workshops, conferences, summer undergraduate research opportunities and works with ESRO, an outreach program for middle and high school students interested in engineering from the William R. Peck School in Holyoke.
