Maternal Newborn Practicum

Students receive course credit for volunteering for a maternal newborn or women's health organization. In 2014, UMass Nursing students supported the March of Dimes walk/run in October on campus and the Rays of Hope breast cancer walk/run in Springfield or Greenfield. Students may also satisfy their course requirements by working with the middle and high school education portion of the Diversity program in the College of Nursing.
