MassHistory: An Annual Conference for Massachusetts History Organizations

An annual conference for staff and volunteers of Massachusetts' museums and historic sites, historical societies and historical commissions. The conference--revived by MassHumanities (then the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities) and UMass Public History after the folding of the Bay State Historical League--is jointly planned by four partner organizations; each year a theme is selected (themes have including interpreting landscapes, writing beyond Academe, the history of energy and other topics) and a daylong conference organized that draws history practitioners from around the Commonwealth.
