History Alive! Writing Springfield Then and Now

Monday-Friday, June 27-July 1,

9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The camp is free for students qualifying for free and reduced lunch, $100 for other students.   The Armory has a lot more to offer than a history of firearms. Students will have a chance to learn about immigration, labor, precision manufacturing, social justice movements, and much more. See the flyer for more information. Click here to register.

  • -Fellowships for teachers to attend the WMWP Summer Institute, our core professional development program.

-Special topic workshops, such as ones on digital literacy, language diversity, and assessment. 

-Youth and Community Literacy Programs. 

You may make your tax-deductible contributions either online or via check and postal mail.  To contribute online, click here.  On that page, when you come to Gift Allocation, click on the Allocation 1 drop-down menu and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the list to “Other.”  Select “Other, enter below:”  and type in Western Mass Writing Project in the open box.
