Our Internship Program

The WMPHTC’s internship program develops and strengthens the future public health workforce by providing hands-on training, peer networking, and trainings specific to professional development and cultural competence.

If you are interested in hosting an intern (undergraduate or graduate) for the Fall, Spring, or Summer semester, please fill out the form on the School of Public Health and Health Sciences Workforce Development Page.

The WMPHTC has funding for a limited number of graduate student interns from the School of Public Health and Health Sciences (SPHHS) for fall semester 2013. If you are interested in hosting a funded graduate student, please email Risa Silverman at risa@schoolph.umass.edu for details and requirements. 

SPHHS graduate students are enrolled in the following departments: Community Health Education, Biostatistics,Epidemiology, Environmental Health Sciences, Health Policy and Management, Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Communication Disorders.
