Human Resources Certificate Series  
     
 

Human Resources cover a wide range of employment, personnel, benefits and compensation services. This course provides a fundamental understanding of campus employment from the recruitment and selection of new faculty and staff to managing specific HR status transactions.  University policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements that govern employment will also be reviewed. 

 
     
  SESSIONS MAY NOT BE TAKEN AS INDIVIDUAL WORKSHOPS. However, to sign up for the series, you must register for each workshop separately.  Participants who complete both of the workshops in this series will receive a certificate.

  • General knowledge of the hiring process for faculty and/or staff
  • General knowledge of Human Resources and Personnel Information Data
  • General knowledge of the e*mpac Human/Resources Payroll System
