Budgeting is an essential University function that encompasses a wide range of skills and responsibilities. This course provides a range of core competency training from basic accounting concepts to campus budgeting practices to performing trend analysis and monitoring budgets to case studies involving the management of large department budgets.

PRE-REQUISITES : The ability to run PeopleSoft queries is desirable. INSTRUCTOR : Budget Office
WHO SHOULD ATTEND : This course will be useful to anyone who works with or has an interest in working on budgets. Preference will be given to staff currently performing a financial function. LOCATION : Campus Center - Rooms vary
