Maintain, Manage & Monitor Employment Information  
     
 

An essential function of departmental staff with HR responsibilities is to monitor a faculty or staff member’s employment status and benefit information. This session will review the information, tools, and management reports available to successfully maintain, manage and understand employment-related information.

Participants will learn:

How to effectively use the tools available to monitor/manage the employment/benefit status of an employee
How to apply knowledge/processes reviewed in session I and II through case studies
The bi-weekly payroll process, including the use of deadlines
General paycheck information
PRE-REQUISITES :
  • General knowledge of the hiring process for faculty and/or staff
  • General knowledge of Human Resources and Personnel Information Data
  • General knowledge of the e*mpac Human/Resources Payroll System
