This certificate program offers in-depth learning for supervisors and managers who seek to establish or enhance the broad range of knowledge, skills, and abilities required for effective supervision.  The program covers topics such as performance management, dealing with employee conflicts, organizing and delegating work, and implementing campus policies.  Organized around four compentencies of managing self, others, the work, and the system, the course offers both new and seasoned supervisors an opportunity to learn collaboratively with supervisors from across campus.

Please note:  Individual sessions in this course cannot be taken separately.

    The SLDP series is designed for staff and faculty who supervise and manage staff, faculty and/or graduate student staff.  WL&D offers a Supervising Student Workers Series in the Fall for staff who supervise undergraduate students.
