Understanding the Discipline Process

When issues arise between employees and supervisors, it is important to discern how and what issues can be resolved easily, and when and which problems may require disciplinary action. Some supervisors may be involved in a union grievance or disciplinary situation with more than one employee. Every supervisor should have a clear working knowledge of the union and HR disciplinary procedures and why or when they can be used. This two-session workshop provides you with the opportunity to develop the appropriate skills to deal with disciplinary situations.
