Back Care & Safety Lifting*

Back injuries are some of the most common injuries experienced by adults. It is important to be conscious of how we use and potentially abuse our spines. It is also important to understand the mechanics of the spine as we seek to stay well at work, and reduce the risk of injury. Material will be presented through video, discussion, and practice.

You are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing, for exercises to strengthen and maintain a healthy back.
