Wind Energy Center Director James F. Manwell
“The UMass Wind Energy Center aims to enhance national excellence in wind energy research and development of direct relevance to industry, as well as to educate and train graduate and undergraduate students who will support and eventually lead in the design, manufacture, installation, operation, and maintenance of wind energy systems,” says Wind Energy Center Director James F. Manwell. “Given our mission, participation by industry collaborators in the planning of research objectives and the development of a consortium model is essential to our future success.”
