An opening reception will be held on October 23rd from 4-6 p.m. and is open to the public

UMass Waugh Arboretum

The Waugh Arboretum, established in 1944, commemorates Frank A. Waugh, the first head of what is now the University’s Landscape Architecture Department. The campus trees form the Arboretum and include a number of rare trees, such as the stately Japanese elm at South College, the oldest of its kind in the United States.

This calendar serves as a year-round reminder of the natural beauty to be found at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. You can support the maintenance and preservation of the Waugh Arboretum by ordering your calendar today!
