Spring 2003 Rep Meeting
April 26, 2003

Excused: Resolutes (they called and indicated they will be playing this year)

League Fees: $150.00 per team (regardless of number of players)

- Games Per Week
We will attempt to schedule 2 games/week, dependent on field availability. Games begin week of May 27 and run 10 weeks.
- Teams
New team this year: Wall to Wall
We will encourage any new players to join a current team and establish any new teams by discussion at the end of the season or next fall
- Umpires
Coordinator: Jenny Miriam (582-7022)
Umpire Clinic:
May 18th at Look Park (tentative)
12 - 1pm training; 1 - 4pm games
Teams are asked to come and scrimmage beginning at 1pm to give umps practice. Please encourage new people to come and ump this year!
The ump fee this year is $35.00 per game.
- Schedule
The schedule will be posted on the web site at and emailed to team reps.
Fields
We will attempt to get Sheldon for M - F, plus another 2 days/week
at Fort River for Monday/Wednesday games.
- Tournament

You will be contacted by Jess about the possibility of a mid-July tournament.
- Rules
Reps are encouraged to get the rules from the web site and print them out for their teammates. Reps are asked to let teammates know there is no recording of win/loss records and that the emphasis should be on community sports!
- Website
Liz Buxton offered to help Jill this year and then be webmaster next year.
Teams are asked to review their team description and send updates to Jill at "jillzden at yahoo dot com."
- Pride March
The league will have a table again this year; please bring all your baked goods to the table as close to 10am on Saturday, May 3rd.
Incorrects: 10 - 11am
Wall to Wall: 11 - 12pm
Visionaries: 12 - 1pm
Red Scare: 1 - 2pm
Womynrising: 2 - 3pm
No Nukes: 3 - 4pm
Resisters: 4 - 5pm
General Information
You must call the Northampton Rec to schedule fields for practice: Chris at 587-1040 and be sure to pick up your slip before the practice!!!
In the event of rain you can call the Northampton Rec after 4:30 to see if the field is too wet for play: Call 587-1044 for the recording.
