Campus Tours
Student-led walking tours provide an overview of our academic programs and campus life. Tours last about 75 minutes and originate from the Robsham Memorial Center for Visitors. Tours are walk-on only. We invite you to participate in a tour during the designated tour times outlined below.
No Reservations are necessary.
Summer Schedule
June 1, 2009 through September 4, 2009 tours are offered Monday through Friday only. Tours are at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 2:30 pm.
Fall Schedule
September 8 through December 18, 2009, tours are offered Monday through Saturday.
Weekdays
Monday through Friday tours are at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 2:30 pm.
Weekends
Saturday tours are at 11:00 am and 1:30 pm.
Holiday Tour Schedule
On the following holidays, tours are offered at 11:00 am and 1:30 pm only:
Columbus Day, Oct 12
Veterans Day, Nov 11
Martin Luther King Day, Jan 18
Presidents' Day, Feb 15
Patriots' Day, Apr 19
No tours are offered during Commencement/Memorial Day Weekend (May 22-25), July 4, Labor Day Weekend (September 5-7), Thanksgiving Break (November 26-29), Winter Break (December 19-TBD) and the UMass Spring Break (March 13-21).
Parking
To allow sufficient time for parking, please arrive at the Visitors Center at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour or information session. Please park your car in our Visitor Parking and bring your license plate information with you when you check in with our receptionist. You will be directed to the appropriate lot.
Admission Information Sessions
Learn More about the application review process from one of our Admission Counselors. Admissions Information Sessions are offered at 10:00 am and 12:30 pm on weekdays. Saturday sessions are available in the fall, winter and spring semesters.
Please note that Information Sessions last for about 40 minutes, allowing adequate time for guests to also participate in a Campus Tour.
Information Sessions are not offered during the following time periods:
Weekends in June, July, and August, July 4, Labor Day Weekend (September 5-7), Thanksgiving Break (November 26-29), Winter Break (December 19-TBD), UMass Spring Break (March 13-21).
Don't miss the Information Session. Please check-in at the Visitors Center at least 15 minutes prior to the session to obtain the daily room location, parking and directions.
Meet a Current Student
Speak with a Student Admissions Representative about various aspects of college life. Student Admissions Representatives can provide information about the University and share their own personal experiences with a prospective student. Contact the Visitors Center at 413-545-0306 to schedule this opportunity to meet a current student and experience an informal non-evaluative interview. The 15-minute interviews can be scheduled in advance of your visit and take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
