NOTICE [about Summer courses]

If you are planning to take a summer class and wish to utilize your GI bill benefits (i.e. Chapter 30, 33, 35, 1606, etc); you MUST inform the Veteran Services Office when you register. Please notify us via email with your full name, student id, summer session one and / or two, the course name and number of credits.

VRAP is not offered at UMass

The VRAP [Veterans Retraining Assistance Program] is not offered at four year institutions. It is only offered by community colleges or technical schools.

Veteran Services was established to continue a tradition of support by providing UMASS military and veteran populations with the service and assistance they deserve. Our goal is to ensure that your transition to UMASS is as smooth as possible. Whether you are entering college for the first time, transferring from another school, or returning from a deployment, the UMASS community welcomes you.

Veteran Services offers a Drop-in Center for veteran students to relax or study. Educational and social events are sponsored throughout the year.

We are located in Room 231
Whitmore Adminstration Building
Monday through Friday 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Academic Advising

Available with Greg Boisseau every Friday from 11:15 am to 1:00 pm in Veterans Services - Whitmore Room 231.
