New UWW Student Orientations for Spring 2010
New students entering the Individualized Degree program in spring 2010 can choose to attend the January 9th orientation (see schedule below) if they live near the Amherst/Hadley area. At the orientation, you will have a chance to meet the advisors and your classmates for the coming semester, hear current or former UMass UWW students talk about their experiences in the UWW program, and ask all your questions.
All new students accepted into the Elementary Licensure (Massachusetts only) Program are expected to attend the January 12, 2010 orientation for that group.

Individualized Degree students: Please indicate on your Intent to Enroll form whether you will be attending an orientation session or e-mail uww@uww.umass.edu with that information. Obviously attending the orientation may be impossible for online students living far from the Amherst campus, but we encourage all students who can to attend. During part of the orientation, the faculty will introduce you to the UMass Online Blackboard learning environment so that you will find it easier to navigate once classes begin.
Parking: ELP Orientation free parking is available right outside the UWW office at the 100 Venture Way building. The Individualized program orientation parking is available at the Campus Center Garage. UMass Campus Map!
Continuing & Professional Education registration for spring 2010 begins on November 12th. Information about course sections for the programs is linked to the main new students page. We encourage you to register as soon as possible once orientation begins to be assured of the class sections you prefer.
