New UMass UWW Student Orientation Sessions - for fall 2008 accepted students
These orientation sessions are for students accepted into UMass Amherst UWW for fall 2008 only. (If you are a prospective applicant to the UWW program, and you are seeking more information before applying, we invite you to attend one of our small-group information sessions). All the details accepted UWW students will need are listed below:

UWW Educator Licensure Program: Monday, July 21, 4:30-7:30 PM. Welcome to all new UWW Educator Licensure students! You are all expected to attend the orientation to be prepared for the upcoming semester and to better understand the requirements for attaining elementary school licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

UWW Individualized Degree Program: Saturday, August 23, 2008, 9:00-10:30 AM OR Wednesday, August 27, 6:00-7:30 PM. Welcome to the University Without Walls! We encourage you to attend one of the two orientations for UWW individualized degree students. Because many in this program live outside the Amherst area, attendance at orientation for these UWW students is optional. All new UWW students in this program will be taking at least one online or blended course in the first semester, so the orientation will introduce you to the UMassOnline course environment.
