Dwynette provides daily support and guidance to prospective students, answering questions about how UWW works and providing valuable resources to help adults make educational choices that are right for them. She also provides administrative support to faculty and staff.
The daughter of Caribbean immigrants, Dwynette grew up in New York where she immersed herself in music and dance. After high school, she continued her education at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. After many moves, two children, and careers as a musician, pre-school teacher, paraprofessional, and choral program director, Dwynette landed in Western, MA.
Dwynette understands personally the challenges faced by adult students. She returned to school after the birth of her first child and found it to be one of the most challenging, fun and positive experiences of her life.
A firm believer in the power of positivity and good deeds, Dwynette enjoys speaking with, supporting and being inspired by the countless adult students she speaks with every day.
