As part of his concentration in Criminal Justice and Society, Steve Wheeler submitted a prior learning portfolio for college credit based on learning he gained as a farmer, a union steward, and an assistant probation officer. Of his UWW experience, Steve says, "UWW has helped me to recognize the value of my prior learning in the workplace. This recognition has helped me begin a career with the Massachusetts Trial Court. UWW offers the flexibility and options that are needed by returning students." |
