UWW Application Deadlines for:
- Fall semester admission: May 15
- Spring semester admission: October 1

Step One: Learn about UWW educational opportunities
The first step in applying for admission to the UMass Amherst University Without Walls is to learn all that you need to know about the UWW program and the opportunities to complete your undergraduate degree. Here are the methods for reviewing UWW:
Online Information Presentation You can sign up for an online information presentation where in just 20 minutes, at anytime and anywhere that is convenient, you will be able to listen and watch a video review all of UMass UWW key features, program descriptions, application details, costs and graduation requirements.
Website Written Overview of UWW Gain a complete overview of all that UWW offers you on our website, where you will find summaries of key features, programs, requirements, and costs.
In-person information sessions You can sign up for an in-person small group information session with a UMass Amherst UWW representative who will review all the key features of UWW and answer your questions. These sessions of about 1-1 ½ hours each, are held at various venues across Western Massachusetts, including at UWW, 100 Venture Way, Suite 200, Hadley, MA.

By appointment with a UWW faculty or academic staff member After reviewing the web site or attending an information session, you may feel the need to discuss your particular circumstances in an individual appointment. We ask that anyone wishing to sign up for an appointment, first attend an online or in-person information session or complete the website overview so that your appointment will be put to the best use. Appointments may be made for in person or on the phone - please indicate which will work best for you.
Step Two: Learn about financial aid opportunities
As matriculated degree students, all UWW students taking at least six credits per semester are eligible to submit an application for financial aid through the University of Massachusetts Amherst Financial Aid Office. Learn more about scholarships, grants, and financial aid.
