To care for/make arrangements for care of a minor dependent child. LWOP but can use accrued leave time in accordance with union contracts and non-unit policies.
Family 10 weeks. Not more than 10 days in not less than 1 day increments. Written statement (application) from employee that includes stated intention to return to work. 2 week notice required prior to departure date. Spouse, domestic partner, grandparent, grandchild, relative living in same household LWOP but can use accrued leave time in accordance with union contracts and non-unit policies.
Small Necessities 24 hours per calendar year 1 year of service and worked a minimum of 1250 hours over the past 12 months. Attend a child's school activity or accompany child/elderly relative to a medical appointment LWOP but can use accrued leave time in accordance with union contracts and non-unit policies.
Voluntary Services 1 fullworkday per month Full-time employees who've worked on campus for 6 months, had satisfactory job evaluations and who have prior approval from supervisor and the department head. Volunteer in a Massachusetts public school/district. Paid Leave
