EXTERNAL RELATIONS
AND UNIVERSITY EVENTS
We provide event planning resources for schools and colleges, departments, and programs hosting major speakers or significant events on campus.
Many of these events bring distinguished guests to campus, and may prompt external media coverage. Our office establishes and administers University protocols, providing guidelines for welcoming guests and presenting the campus to all audiences and constituencies.
We also ensure that University protocol is followed when Chancellor Holub is participating in an event, working directly with the hosting school or college, department, or program.

- Opening of campus facilities
- UMass Amherst Community Campaign (UMACC)
