State Government Relations

The State Government Relations office, headed by the Director of Public and Constituent Relations and housed in Boston, is responsible for advocating for the interests of the university in the Commonwealth’s legislative and executive branches of government, and for cultivating productive relationships with state government leaders.

The State Government Relations office is the primary voice for the university among state legislators and policy-makers and is specifically responsible for communicating regularly with, and responding to state legislators and relevant executive branch members about campus issues. The director is also charged with raising the profile and support, politically and non-politically, of the flagship campus in the city of Boston.
