How can I find out more about a book?

If you know the author and/or title, or even part of the title, we suggest you start with the search page. You can also browse out titles by subject , author, and series.

Can I order online from the UMass Press?

I would like to consider a title for use in a class I teach. What do I do?

If you wish to examine a paperback for possible course adoption, please send your request on school letterhead, with your name, address, office, phone number, course name, and projected enrollment. Your request may include no more than three titles and is subject to Press approval. The only charge for examination copies is a $8.00 shipping and handling fee per title.

I want to review one of your books for my journal/newspaper. How do I request a copy?

How can I contact an author?

We would be happy to forward your correspondence, email or otherwise, to an author but, as a policy, the University of Massachusetts Press does not distribute authors' addresses or phone numbers. Some of our authors have web pages linked to their titles and often you can contact them via their web page.
