Visiting Composer Concert: Menachem Wiesenberg
A concert featuring music by internationally-acclaimed composer Menachem Wiesenberg, in residence Feb. 13-17 at UMass Amherst.
Repertoire will include Concertino for Cello & Strings, Entrapped Bird & Ein Gedi. The performers are faculty members Marjorie Melnick, mezzo-soprano & Astrid Schween, cello as well as Opus One String Chamber Orchestra, Lanfranco Marcelletti, Jr., conductor & Mak'hela (Jewish Chorus of western MA), Kayla Werlin, director.
