The Student Activities Center presents two movies for Something Every Friday: The Grudge and Eve's Bayou.

The Grudge: Based on the Japanese horror thriller Ju-On, The Grudge is the curse that is passed on when someone witnesses another who kills in the grip of a powerful rage. Those who see it are doomed to die in the same way and pass the curse like a virus in a growing chain of horror. Eve's Bayou: Written and directed by actress Kasi Lemmons, this story tells of an eccentric family in a predominately black Louisiana town—seen through the eyes of a high-spirited ten-year-old girl (Jurnee Smollett). All of the characters are locked into a series of choices that have profound and surprising consequences. With Jurnee Smollett, Meagan Good, Samuel L. Jackson, Lynn Whitfield.
