Metro, NY Alumni Event: Free Family/Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Want to be active in your community during the holiday season? Join your fellow Metro New York alumni for the 2nd Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner in East Harlem, sponsored by the Creole Restaurant -- also known as the Creole World Foundation. This year we hope to feed 500 people!
Approximately 15 volunteers are needed for each shift, each day. Volunteers are asked to commit to a 2 hour shift. When filling in your availability, please indicate which hours you can work.
First shift is Tuesday, November 24th from 11:00AM - 5:00PM. This shift would entail food preparation, cutting food, transporting goods from the Creole Restaurant to the kitchen at Holy Rosary Church, and other duties as needed.
Second shift is Wednesday, November 25th from 11:00AM - 5:00PM. This shift would entail set-up, food preparation, on-site food serving, and clean up.
