Gupta Professorship Inaugural Lecture: "How to Implant a Fluorescence Microscope"
Dr. Christopher Salthouse is the new Dev and Linda Gupta Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His lecture, titled “How to Implant a Fluorescence Microscope,” will explain how the integrated circuits that have revolutionized computation will solve the biomedical problems related to developing implantable fluorescence microscopes.
The Dev and Linda Gupta Professorship is an endowment funded through the generosity of Dev and Linda Gupta that supports a new faculty member in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department who brings fresh ideas and areas of inquiry to the department. The support is specifically intended to encourage risk-taking and entrepreneurial pursuits.
