Dinner On Us: Workshops for Families with Infants and Young Children
Dinner On Us" is a weekly roundtable discussion series for families with young children, ages birth to five. This week's session, titled "Grab Your Hat and Coat," features Earthworks founder and Nurtured Heart trainer Frank Grindrod. Grindrod will share his approaches to nurturing your child’s connection to the natural world.
Frank Grindrod is the founder of Earthwork Programs and is dedicated to teaching people "Earth" skills such as nature awareness, tracking, wilderness living skills, and Earth philosophy. He is a graduate of the nationally-recognized Outdoor Leadership Program at Greenfield Community College. He is currently working as a lead facilitator of Wilderness Education and is a Certified Facilitator for the Nurtured Heart Approach. He is a consultant for several camps, museums, conferences, schools, and environmental education centers throughout New England.
"Dinner On Us" occurs on Monday evenings during the academic year. Sessions are free and include dinner, supervised children's activities, and parking. The evening schedule is as follows:
Family Dinner: 5:15-5:45pm
Supervised Children’s Activities: 5:45-7:30pm
Roundtable Discussion: 6:00-7:30pm
