Poster Presentations for the Collaborative Undergraduate Research in Energy Program
See what a new generation of scientists is learning this summer about renewable energy at UMass Amherst. Undergraduate students from across the country who are participating in the CURE (Collaborative Undergraduate Research in Energy) program will present their work in one of three areas: making biofuels, formulating new membranes for fuel cells, and developing new materials for harvesting solar energy.
CURE, a ten-week summer program of MassCREST (Massachusetts Center for Renewable Energy Science and Technology), gives students the opportunity to gain valuable research experience in the cutting-edge field of green energy. Each student will display a poster highlighting their research results and will be on hand to discuss the details and answer questions. Light refreshments will be served.
