Campus Appreciation Day Picnic
University staff and faculty, their immediate families, and University retirees are invited to join this informal celebration of the campus and our accomplishments over the 2008–2009 academic year.
No registration or meal tickets are necessary. Picnic fare and snacks are free.
The entertainment includes a magician and balloon sculptor, the Hopkins Academy Jazz Band, UMass Athletics, UMass Police Units, bingo, pie eating contests, academic department displays, karaoke, and more!
Help us make the 2009 CAD picnic a success by joining the fun as a volunteer! Cook or serve food, participate on our "games and recreation crew," or help us set up or break down the picnic area. Just as your contributions to the campus are important on a daily basis, your assistance is integral to making this campus celebration a success. Sign up to volunteer by completing the online volunteer sign-up form located in the "What's New" section of the Human Resources homepage.
University Parking Services is generously offering free parking in University parking lots #25, #45, and #65 from 3:00-9:30 p.m. on May 28 for those attending the picnic and helping to clean up.
In the event of rain, the picnic will be held in the Game Room and the Hatch in the Student Union.
