"Shutter-Bug" Insect Photo Contest
We know that bugs are beautiful - here's your chance to show us that you do too! The Fernald Club, a graduate student entomology club in the Department of Plant, Soil & Insect Sciences, is pleased to announce its first annual "Shutter-Bug" Insect Photo Contest.
An insect must be featured in all photos submitted. Photos will be judged on quality, creativity, and composition. The first place winner will receive $100, and the photo will be framed and displayed in Fernald Hall. There will also be a $50 second place and a $25 third place prize awarded.
The contest is open to all UMass students, staff, and faculty. Deadline for submission is May 15. For details on how to submit a photo, please see the flier.
