RLA and UMass to Break Guinness World Record
The Residential Leadership Association (RLA) has come up with a way to build community, here on campus and throughout the surrounding area: by breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest human wheelbarrow race.
We need 560 teams to beat the current record, but of course, we would like to blow it out of the water. A Guinness World Record judge will be present at this event, and we are also inviting newspapers, TV stations, and radio stations. If we break the record, there will be a huge ceremony on site!
Teams may register the day of the race starting at 11:00 a.m. Or, preregister a team on the RLA's website or at the RLA table in the Campus Center. Each team member will receive a gift for participating in the event.
