Pioneer Valley Taste of the Nation

The Isenberg School of Management's Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management is pleased to announce that it is hosting Share our Strength's Pioneer Valley Taste of the Nation event. See the Marriott Center for Hospitality Management, located at the top of the Campus Center, transformed into the Metropolis Social Club. Hobnob in the exclusive city nightclub atmosphere and enjoy culinary delights from the area's hottest restaurants while dancing to the tunes spun by famed DJ Hush. The event will also include an auction of must-have lots, such as one-of-a-kind dining experiences and specialty wine lots. This year's event features a private VIP lounge room with wine experts and a sommelier. VIPs will enjoy exclusive hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and a VIP swag bag.

Share Our Strength is one of the country's leading organizations working to end childhood hunger in America. One of the many programs Share offers in their effort to ensure that no kid goes hungry is Taste of the Nation. At events in over 50 cities across the United States, local chefs share their time, talent, and creations to benefit local agencies serving hungry kids. The Pioneer Valley event, currently in its 9th year, brings together 15-20 of the area's top chefs and approximately 200 foodie consumers in an evening of exquisite food, premier wines and exclusive auction items. The event grants 100% of ticket sales to support the most effective organizations engaged in that fight; recipients of this money are the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and Project Bread.

Now more than ever your community needs you. Nationally, 1 out of 6 kids are food insecure. In Massachusetts, that number is 1 out 5, but locally that number is 1 out of 3. (To be food insecure is to be in a household that lacks sustainable access to food.)

You can buy tickets online, or on campus from Laurie Salame. Hope to see you there!
