Five College Clothesline Project

Join us for the UMass display of the Clothesline Project. Through the decoration and display of t-shirts, the Clothesline Project gives voice to the experiences of survivors, victims, friends, and family members who have been affected by violence. The shirts hang shoulder-to-shoulder on a clothesline for public viewing, as if the survivors are standing there themselves, sharing their experiences.

People interested in adding a t-shirt to the Five College Clothesline Project may bring completed t-shirts to UHS, Health Education (on the 3rd floor) by Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 p.m. Or, you can create a shirt at the Take Back the Night drop-in art workshop, which will be held on April 23 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on the Student Union Lawn. A third option is to drop them by the display on May 4.

The rain date is May 5.

This event is sponsored by the Health Education Department of University Health Services and Everywoman's Center.
