CANCELED: Daily Collegian Reunion and Journalism Conference
Calling all newsies! The Daily Collegian Alumni Reunion and Conference promises to be a day of food, fun and discussions on journalism topics in the 21st century. The Collegian invites alumni and current student to attend and re-connect with fellow Collegian and journalism peers while enjoying workshops, tours, social gatherings, meals and more!
The event will feature a light lunch, a three-course dinner, and four panels featuring prominent journalists and Collegian and UMass alumni, including Kevin Cullen '81 (Columnist, The Boston Globe), Craig Sandler '95 (General Manager, State House News Service), and Nicole Simmons '98 (Multimedia Editor, The MetroWest Daily News), among others.
Panels will include: "Multimedia Innovation and Ethics," "Literary and Narrative Journalism," "The Future of Print Journalism," and "Sports Writing in the 21st Century."
