Metro New York Alumni Club Event: Miles for Moms Run/Walk for Cancer Research
Join the Metro NY alumni team for the Ninth Annual Miles for Moms Charity Run/Walk for Cancer Research. This 4-mile run/walk event is in honor and memory of all mothers who have battled cancer. Miles for Moms was founded by UMass Amherst's very own Renee Rosenberg '93, who lost her mother Celia, to this horrible disease.
Please bring your family and friends and join the team. The run/walk promises to be a great event for all ages, and there will be awards, prizes, refreshments, music, and best of all - dedication to the fight against cancer! Don't forget to stop by our table for your UMass Amherst t-shirt. If you do not wish to walk, please consider volunteering to assist at the event.
You can register online or at the registration tent on race day.
There is an entry fee for this event of $25 on or before May 4. The fee is $30 on or after May 5.
