NC Triangle Area Alumni Club Event: Food Bank Project
The NC Triangle Alumni Club will spend time helping out a local food bank sort and repackage warehouse inventory. Volunteers will consolidate fresh produce into smaller boxes and separate bulk items into family size portions. Bond with other alumni while doing something good for your community!
All alumni, friends, and family ages 12 or older are welcome to help out. Each volunteer will receive a UMass Amherst Alumni Association t-shirt. Please wear sturdy shoes; jeans are recommended. Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver form prior to volunteering.
In addition to helping sort warehouse inventory, volunteers may bring food to donate to the Food Bank, which is encouraged but not required. Please click here for a list of the most-needed items.
